Cooking Tips: Add a teaspoon of cacao nibs to your smoothies or breaky bowl to give you contrast in texture and also a dose of magnesium, which is great for recovery.
Training Tip: Your foot should be secure on the ground when squatting. If your toes or heels lift you become unbalanced. Try this; pin the webbing between the big toe and the pointer toe to the ground. Now focus the weight to the outside ankle bone as you squat. This should provide balance and stability and hopefully some new personal records!

Bacon & No-Potato Salad + Homemade Mayonnaise
Try this spin on the Aussie classic
1. Boil the eggs (10 mins), steam the cauliflower in florets (8 mins) and grill the bacon to start with. Cool the boiled eggs in cold water and rinse the cauliflower in cold water to cool them down.
2. Mince the red onion and garlic and mix them with homemade paleo mayo* (view recipe here) in a smaller bowl. Add in chopped gherkins, Dijon mustard, black pepper and mix well.
3. Crumble cauliflower into a big bowl. Add in chopped eggs and bacon. Pour in the mayo mix and mix the whole lot well.
4. Serve as a side for a good steak or just eat as such – absolutely delicious!
(* I used the whole batch of homemade mayo, but if you don’t like your salad quite so mayo heavy, start with less and keep adding until you reach the desired consistency)
