Commercial Gym Flooring, Planned Around Your Training Space
A commercial gym floor has to do more than cover concrete. It needs to support the way members lift, move, sprint and push—while helping the whole facility look considered and unmistakably yours.
Again Faster Australia helps gym owners and operators plan a complete flooring solution around their space. That can include premium rubber and EPDM tiles, rubber rolls, custom-printed feature tiles, and fully customised turf or sled tracks.

Starting a new gym—or improving the one you already run?
Planning a new fit-out
Make flooring part of the layout from the beginning. We can help you think through training zones, equipment placement, traffic flow, turf lanes, transitions and branded features before you commit to an order.
Upgrading an existing gym
You may not need to replace everything at once. We can review the current floor, identify priority zones and help plan a staged upgrade around trading hours, equipment and budget.
Three ways to build a better commercial gym floor
Premium rubber and EPDM flooring
Rubber flooring gives strength and functional training areas a durable, practical base. Again Faster’s Premium EPDM Flooring is available in a 1 m × 1 m × 15 mm format with a premium 2 mm EPDM surface layer. Tile, mat and roll formats can each suit different areas and project requirements.
Custom-printed feature tiles
Use the floor itself as part of the facility design. A selected tile can carry a custom design, gym logo or zone marking, subject to artwork and production approval. We will confirm the suitable base tile, printable area and project requirements before quoting.
Custom turf and sled tracks
Create a functional training lane that belongs to your brand. Custom turf can incorporate colours, logos, markings and functional zones. It can support sled work, sprint and agility training, and clearer space organisation.

Plan by training zone
| Zone | What the floor needs to support | Starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Strength and free weights | Repeated loading, equipment movement and a stable training surface | Commercial rubber tile, mat or roll selected for the application |
| Functional training | Frequent movement, mixed equipment and flexible layouts | Rubber flooring with clear zone boundaries |
| Sled and sprint work | A dedicated surface and usable run length | Solid-colour or custom turf/sled track |
| High-traffic paths | Clear circulation and maintainable transitions | Plan joins, edges and traffic flow before ordering |
| Brand and feature zones | Visual identity without sacrificing function | Custom-printed tile or branded turf detail |
The right specification depends on the subfloor, equipment, training use, traffic and installation conditions. A layout consultation is the safest place to start.
What happens in a free flooring consultation?
- Tell us about the space. Share dimensions, a plan or photos, your equipment mix and whether this is a new fit-out or an upgrade.
- Map the training zones. We identify lifting, functional, turf, traffic and branded areas.
- Review suitable surfaces. We compare practical rubber, EPDM and turf options without forcing one surface across every zone.
- Refine the layout. We consider joins, edges, transitions and the placement of custom elements.
- Request a quote. Once the scope is clear, we can prepare the next step using currently verified product and fulfilment information.
Commercial flooring in real training spaces
Again Faster has supported commercial gym projects with custom flooring and turf. At CreateFit, a custom 2 m × 10 m branded turf helped define the training space as part of a broader fit-out.

Frequently asked questions
What flooring is best for a commercial gym?
There is no single best surface for every commercial gym. The right plan depends on the training zones, equipment, subfloor, traffic, maintenance needs and brand. Many projects use a combination of rubber flooring and turf.
Do you supply rubber tiles and rolls?
Again Faster lists commercial rubber flooring in tile, mat and roll formats. The suitable format depends on the area, installation and training use.
Can gym flooring include our logo?
A selected flooring tile can carry a custom design, gym logo or zone marking, subject to artwork and production approval. Custom turf can also incorporate colours, logos, markings and functional zones.
Can you help plan a sled track?
Yes. The consultation can include the location, width, usable length, colours, markings, logos and functional zones for a turf or sled track.
How much flooring should I order?
Start with accurate room and zone measurements, then account for edges, transitions, obstructions and the selected installation method. We recommend confirming the layout before placing a commercial order.
Do you work with both new and existing gyms?
Yes. The campaign service is designed equally for new fit-outs and upgrades to operating commercial gyms in Australia.
